I am beyond excited to share that our recent editorial styled shoot, "Love, Unbridled: An Intimate Equestrian Elopement in Italy," has been officially published on Wezoree!
As a destination wedding photographer capturing love stories across Italy, my heart always leans toward celebrations that prioritize authenticity, deep personal connection, and understated luxury. This shoot was a pure reflection of that philosophy—a day crafted not around artificial perfection, but around the genuine spirit of two people, their shared passion for horses, and a place that felt effortlessly like home.
The Vision: Rooted in Purpose & Organic Elegance
Conceived and organized together with the brilliant wedding planner Cecilia Chavé, this equestrian elopement was designed to highlight natural textures and raw, honest emotion.
Rather than turning an Italian horse stable into a heavily decorated backdrop, we embraced its true character:
The Atmosphere & Décor: Soft white roses by Naturalmentesi Floral Design brought effortless romance, while organic hay bales and curated rentals from Venturino Noleggi complemented the neutral, earthy palette.
The Fashion: The bride wore a bespoke cotton poplin gown by Les Promesses, featuring a sculpted corset, raw-edge pleats, and an integrated linen scarf. To add an artistic twist, she layered it with a stunning hand-painted jacket by Opera Mia.
Artisanal Details:Inviterie created custom embroidered menus adorned with subtle horseshoe motifs and delicate lace, pairing beautifully with a sleek, minimalist cake by Katia Toscano Cakes.
Moments Captured Through the Lens
From quiet morning prep with fresh, radiant hair and makeup by Mary Makeup Torino, to an intimate exchange of vows surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the stable, every moment unfolded naturally.
The highlight of the day? Taking off into the golden hour for a peaceful horseback ride at sunset. Documenting this unhurried, romantic moment—where the connection between the couple and the horses took center stage—reminded me why I love capturing destination elopements in Italy so deeply.
